Kabir Peace Mission celebrated its 27th Foundation Day

Two books titled ‘Sarthak Jeevan-Tamsoma Jyotirgamay and The Story of my Spiritual Journey’ Released.

· KPM conferred its prestigious award of ‘Kabir Deep’ on its five senior members from various centers.

Kabir Peace Mission celebrated its 27th Foundation Day on 23rd April 2017 (Sunday) in City Montessori School, Vishal Khand, Gomtinagar auditorium. On its Foundation Day, mission organized a discussion on the subject, from ‘Darkness to Light: An Ongoing Journey.’ At this occasion the Chief Guest was Hon’ble Shri Ram Naik Governor of Uttar Pradesh. The keynote speaker was Shri Shambhu Nath, former Chief Secretary of Uttar Pradesh. The program was presided by former Lokayukta of Uttar Pradesh Justice S. C. Verma. On this occasion Shri Krishan Bihari Agarwal President Kabir Peace Mission, Shri Jagdish Gandhi, Shri Rakesh Mittal Chief Coordinator of Kabir Peace Mission and Dr. I.P.S. Bisnik author were also present on the dais. The program was attended by a large number of members and well wishers of the mission.

Two books were launched during the program. One book titled ‘Sarthak Jeevan-Tamsoma Jyotirgamay is written by Dr. I.P.S. Bisnik a senior member of Kabir Peace Mission. He has written several books in the past also. This book explains in detail the fundamental principles of life which makes it meaningful. The explanations given in the book are very convincing. The second book released in the function is a spiritual biography of the author Shri Rakesh Kumar Mittal titled ‘The Story of my Spiritual Journey’. This book describes in detail the association of his spiritual master Swami Bhoomananda Tirth and how it changed the quality of his life. The book is of immense help to all genuine seekers.

Kabir Peace Mission conferred its prestigious award of ‘Kabir Deep’ on its five senior members from various centers. The recipients are Padam Shri Dr. Mansoor Hasan, the renowned cardiologist of Lucknow, Dr. Rajesh Agarwal, Chief Medical Superimtendent of Regency Hospital, Kanpur, Shri Chandra Bhooshan Singh former MP and an enlightened farmer from Farukabad, Dr Hemlata Dikhit an educationist and social worker from Indore and Dr. Ishwar Singh a world known Homeopath from Meerut. All of them have rendered selfless service to the society for a long time and are still doing so.

The program began with the welcome address of Mr.Rakesh Mittal who also introduced the subject of discussion. He told about the progress of Kabir Peace Mission since its establishment. He said that collective optimism is very

important and when large number of people think positive, its collective impact is bound to be positive. In the process, the individual is the first beneficiary.

Speaking on the subject of discussion, Shri Shambhu Nath gave a deep insight into the journey of human life. He said that moving foreward is the only way to live meaningfully. He dwelt in detail on the genesis of words ‘Chareveti-Chareveti’ which have been taken from ancient scriptures. A positive thinker always turns difficulties into opportunities and no difficulty in life can stop his forward march.

The Chief Guest Hon’ble Governor of U.P. Shri Ram Naik Ji spoke at length on this occasion. While appreciating the work done by Kabir Peace Mission, he gave many instances from his own life where the motto of ‘Marching Ahead’ helped him in facing the difficult situation of life. In fact the title of his biography released recently is ‘Chareveti–Chareveti’ (Marching Ahead). He expected that more and more selfless people will come forward and be an example for new generation. He profoundly congratulated the ‘Kabir Deep’ awardees and wished them good health in future.

Kabir Peace Mission was established in April 1990 to develop Positive Thinking in the Society. During this period mission has grown phenomenally and today it has support from all sections of the society. At present there are 2720 life member of the mission spread over 40 centers in India and abroad. Mission also works in association with many likeminded organizations.

The program concluded with the Presidential address by Justice S. C. Verma who also proposed a vote of thanks to Chief Guest, the key note speaker and all the guests for their benign presence. Around 400 enlightened citizens were present in the program.
