Rs. 9.59 Cr. Handed Over to UPRNN

An amount of Rs. 9.59 crore has been made available to the UP Rajkiya Nirman Nigam (UPRNN) for constructing buildings of the Khwaja Muinuddin Chishti (KMC) Urdu, Arabi-Farsi University. So far, a total amount of Rs. 171 crore has been handed over to the UPRNN, which has been spent on construction works.

The Vice Chancellor of the university, Dr. Anis Ansari, gave this information here today. He said that the state government had so far made available Rs. 17.84 crore against the budget of Rs. 25 crore allocated in the current financial year. Of this released amount, Rs. 8.25 crore had been spent by the UPRNN. Keeping this in view, the remaining amount of Rs. 9.59 crore had also been released to the UPRNN. This amount is likely to be spent by the end of this month, he added.

Dr. Ansari said that sincere efforts were being made not only to get released the remaining 08 crore amount of the university’s annual budget of Rs. 25 crore, but also receive an additional fund of at least Rs. 150 crore from the state government.
