Several people said that every where Wahabis are seen in the name of Muslim leadership while 80 % of Indian Muslims do not adhere to Wahabi Saudi ideology as they practice age old traditions of Islam which encourages preaching through Khanqaus, Dargahs, Astanas spread in every nook and corner of India. Wahabis brand these activities as innovation in Islam and try to impose their extreme ideology which contradicts Islam.
Zakir Husain of Churu, Peer Mohammad of Ganga Nagar, Imamuddin & Suleman of Jaipur and others interview here told that we support AIUMB in its declaration that we neither accept Imamat (religious Leadership) of Wahabis not Qayadat (Political leadership) We will demand in Muslim Maha Panchayat that Indian Muslims must be allowed to perform Hajj & Ziyarat according to their profession and practice true to basic Islamic values.

General Secretary of AIUMB Hazrat Maulana Syed Mohammad Ashraf Kichhouchhwi is touring state to garner support for the Muslim Maha Panchayat while National Secretary Syed Babar Ashraf is camping for last ten days in Bikaner district, Rajasthan.
