Uttar Pradesh Police has made hi-tech security arrangements for the world’s biggest religious congregation Kumbh Mela. The state police have made a control room to watch and execute the arrangements in a proper and smooth manner from where every nook and corner of the Kumbh area is under surveillance round the clock. Thirty phone lines are active in the control room twenty four hours. In order to understand these security arrangements in the Kumbh area, a team of Maharashtra Police had visited Allahabad. This team was represented by DSP Maharashtra Police Shri Sunil Sawant accompanied by four other officials of Maharashtra Police. For the last four days, this team tried to inspect and review the security arrangements in the Kumbh Mela at Allahabad so that they can implement them in the Kumbh at Nasik in 2015. DSP Maharashtra Police Shri Sunil Sawant also praised the security arrangements made by the Uttar Pradesh Police.
