An FIR No 606/2012 has been registered against Punjabi and Bollywood
singer Honey Singh for extremely vulgar and indecent songs like “Main hun
Balatkari” (I am a Rapist) and “Kaide Pechayiya.” This FIR has been
registered by IPS officer Amitabh Thakur at Gomtinagar police station,
Lucknow. *Thakur has said in the FIR that the songs are extremely vulgar,
lewd and indecent and acts as an offensive catalyst for crime against
women. * FIR has been registered under sections 292, 293 and 294 IPC. Other
than Punjabi films, Honey Singh has sung in Hindi films Cocktail, Khiladi
786, Race2, Son of Sardar etc
