The book ‘Jad, Jameen, Jahan’ authored by the renowned
writer and literateur Pt. Hari Om Sharma ‘Hari’ was profusely appreciated by the
famous lyricist Pdamshree Javed Akhtar. He said that this book will definitely
be a catalyst to unite the family and the society. Pt. Hari Om Sharma ‘Hari’, the
noted author presented his book ‘Jad, Jameen, Jahan’ to Mr Javed Akhtar today.
Mr Javed Akhtar said on the occasion that Pt. Sharma has done an excellent
work of expressing the views of youths through his stories. I hope that this
book guides the society to the path of righteousness and nurtures the children
correctly in this changing modern scenario. Pt. Hari Om Sharma ‘Hari’ also
briefed Mr Akhtar about his shortly coming book ‘Zid, Zunoon, Zindadili’.

On this occasio, while throwing light on the special features of the
book ‘Jad, Jameen, Jahan’, Pt. Sharma said that the book contains 33 stories of
values, moral teachings and social concerns with the aim to enhance self
confidence of children and reach the pinnacle of success. The book teaches the
relationship and duties of family members and relates it with values, culture and
social concerns that also makes them aware of their rights and duties.

It may be mentioned that the book is praised by various noted persons of
India and abroad for its writing skill. Prime Minister, Dr Manmohan Singh praised

it on 31 Jan 2011 at his residence in Prime Minister’s house and President Dr
(Mrs) Pratibha Devi Singh Patil, former President, Dr APJ Abdul Kalam and
Governor of UP, Mr B L Joshi all praised the book. Besides, the then PM of
Nepal Mr Pushp Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ and the President of Mauritius, Sir
Anerood Jugnauth praised Mr Sharma for his literary acumen.
