On the occasion of New Year Day, the U.P. Chief Minister, Ms Mayawati today called upon the state Governor, Mr. B.L. Joshi at Raj Bhawan and exchanged greetings.
Lokayakt, Mr. N.K. Mehrotra, Cabinet Secretary, Mr. Shashank Shekhar Singh, Chief Secretary, Mr. Anoop Misra, DGP, Mr. Brijlal, Vice Chancellors of various Universities, Principal Secretaries, Secretaries, Police Officers, other senior officials and eminent citizens met the Governor to greet him.
Earlier the Governor met all the officers and employees of Raj Bhawan. Mr. Joshi while extending his best wishes, asked the people to work for all round development of the state and country. Principal Secretary to the Governor, Mr. G. Pattanaik and Secretary, Mrs. Veena were also present on this occasion.
