12th International Conference of Chief Justices of the World begins at CMS on December 9

The 12th International Conference of Chief Justices of the World  is being organized under the aegis of City Montessori School, Lucknow from 9 to 12 December 2011 at CMS Kanpur Road auditorium. Chief Justices, Judges of Supreme Court, legal luminaries and peace promoters numbering around 200 from 70 countries of the world are arriving here at Lucknow to participate in this International conference. This information was given by the Convenor of the International Chief Justices’ Conference, Dr Jagdish Gandhi at a press conference held here today. Addressing the press reporters Dr Gandhi said that this International Judiciary Meet which aims at safeguarding the future of  two billion children of the world is a unique and historic event held yearly and has achieved outstanding popularity in the judicial world besides gaining massive public support. World renowned personalities including the great Dalai Lama, have graced this significant meet during the past 11 years. This year too, there will be a galaxy of renowned legal experts and well known personalities adding to the grandeur and gravity of the conference. Among these luminous personalities are the Union Minister for Law and Justice Mr Salman Khurshid; Governor of Madhya Pradesh, H.E. Mr Ram Naresh Yadav; President of International Association of Judges, Hon. Ms Justice Fatoumata Diakite; Speaker of UP Legislative Assembly, Hon’ble Mr Sukhdev Rajbhar; Minister for PWD, UP,
Mr Naseemuddin Siddiqui; Minister for Panchayati Raj, Mr Swami Prasad Maurya; Minister for Urban Development, Mr Nakul Dubey; Mayor of Lucknow, Dr Dinesh Sharma and Vice-Chancellor of Dr RML National Law University, Prof. Balraj Chauhan etc.
Addressing the press reporters at the press conference, Dr Jagdish Gandhi said that this historic meet of the world judiciary is being organized on the soil of Lucknow, famous for its culture of peace and unity, by the Guinness Book of World Record Holder and UNESCO Prize for Peace Education awardee, City Montessori School representing 42,000 students of the institution who are campaigning for a New World Order based upon World Unity and World Peace for a safe and healthy future of two billion children of the world and generations yet unborn. Dr Gandhi stated that during the past 11 years, CMS has been inviting Chief Justices, Judges and peace promoters of the world to gather on a global platform and ponder upon world issues that affect mankind and also discuss human rights, human values, world unity, world peace and world happiness by creating a New World Order. He expressed the belief that this conference will prove to be a milestone in the formation of a New World Order and a New World Judicial System.
Dr Gandhi explained that this year, Chief Justices, Judges and legal luminaries from over 70 countries will be gracing the event and laying the foundation of a new and peaceful world order. These countries included Afghanistan, Albania, Argentina, Azerbaijan, Benin, Bhutan, Brazil, Burkina Faso, Canada, Colombia, Costa Rica, Cote D’ivoire, Czech republic, Democratic republic of Congo, Ecuador, Egypt, Eritrea, Ethiopia, Fiji islands, Finland, France, Gambia, Georgia, Ghana, Grenada, Guyana, Israel, Italy, Jamaica, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Lao PDR, Lebanon, Madagascar, Malaysia, Malta, Mauritius, Mexico, Mongolia, Montenegro, Nepal, New Zealand, Nicaragua, Nigeria, Peru, Philippines, Republic of Macedonia, Rwanda, Romania, Russian Federation, Serbia, Seychelles, South Africa, Sri Lanka, Swaziland, Tanzania, Tajikistan, Tchad, Thailand, Timor Leste, Togo, Tunisia, Turkey, Uganda, Uruguay, United states, Vanuatu, Zanzibar, Zimbabwe  and India.
Addressing the press reporters, Dr Jagdish Gandhi said  that this International Chief Justices’ Conference will be unique in several ways wherein the legal heads of respective nations will ponder and discuss ways and means to do away with burning global problems like poverty, hunger, illiteracy, chaos, confusion, conflict and terrorism by applying the medicine of Enforceable International Law to the decaying body politic of the world.
Dr Gandhi said that the eyes of two billion children of the world are resting on the world’s judicial experts whose combined strength is their only hope to get out of this miserable and desperate condition that the world is placed in today.
Outlining the schedule of the historic World Judicial Meet, Dr Gandhi said that the Conference is based upon Article 51 of the Constitution of India which is inspired by the Vedic ideal of ‘Vasudhaiv Kutumbkam’ (the whole earth is but one family) and it can well form the basis for establishing a World Parliament, World Government and a powerful World Judicial System. Dr Gandhi opined that the world today is passing through a series of global problems which any one nation cannot solve alone. In the present world scenario, it has become absolutely necessary to think in terms of establishing a World Parliament, World Government and a World Judicial System.
Highlighting the aims and objectives of this International Conference of Chief Justices of the world, Dr Gandhi said that CMS organises ‘International Conference of Chief Justices of the world’ year after year to attain the favour of the people of world for solidifying UNO and International Court of Justice, which can contain World Wars, resolve international conflicts, win over terrorism, disarmament, environmental protection, maintain peace and order and international law and expansion of World Judiciary in all nations. This will bring international relations under One World Order and the coming generation will inherit a safe and peaceful future from us.
Chief Public Relations Officer of CMS, Mr Hari Om Sharma informed that this historic International Conference of Chief Justices is dedicated to a safe and secure future of the world’s two billion children and the theme of the conference this year is “Enforceable World Law and Global Governance is the need of the hour to safeguard the future of the world’s over two billion children and generations yet-to-be born’. With this theme, the renowned Chief Justices and Judges will express their thoughts and later on this basis a Lucknow Declaration will be prepared and released. Mr Sharma said that the former judge of Supreme Court of India Hon’ble Mr Justice A P Mishra is the Chairman of the Preparatory Committee while former Judge of Allahabad High Court Hon’ble Mr Justice A K Srivastava is Chairman of Advisory Committee and Hon’ble Mr Jyotindra Misra is the Chairman of Planning Committee at this conference. Mr Sharma expressed his pleasure that City Montessori School is once again making hectic preparation to welcome the Chief Justices, judges and legal luminaries from around the world at the 12th World Judicial Meet under the guidance of Dr Jagdish Gandhi who is the convenor the this 12 International Conference. He said that the dream of One World does not appear too distant with growing amount of enthusiasm in such conferences and the efforts of 42000 students of CMS.
