Grand welcome to CMS Founder Dr Jagdish Gandhi on return from Norway

Founder of City Montessori School and world renowned educationist Dr Jagdish Gandhi was today accorded a hearty welcome by CMS teachers, parents and workers at Amausi airport. Dr Gandhi returned from a successful educational visit of Norway and CMS workers and teachers garlanded him heavily and welcomed him with roli-chandan-teeka. The hearty reception of Dr Gandhi amidst the bands was a cherishable moment that will leave everlasting impression in people’s memory. Sharing his experiences of journey Dr Gandhi said that his tour will prove beneficial and a milestone for world unity and world peace. The dignitaries of Norway extended a hearty welcome to me and all were in great support for efforts to safeguard the future of the two billion children of the world, Dr Gandhi said. Meeting with Chief Justice of Norway Mr Justice Tore Schei was great, Dr Gandhi said as Mr Tore showed interest in ‘International Conference of the Chief Justices of the World’ organized by CMS every year and called it significant for an effective world order.
Mr Hari Om Sharma, Chief Public Relations Officer of CMS said that this Norway visit of Dr. Gandhi, the staunch supporter of world peace and world unity had been memorable for several reasons. It has given a new dimension to the world peace efforts of Dr Gandhi and the concept of Vasudhaiv Kutumbkam has spread far and wide. The Mayor of Oslo city Mr Torstein Winger honoured Dr Gandhi.
Mr Sharma informed that Dr Gandhi met with Justice Tore Schei, the Chief Justice of Norway  and presented ‘Lifetime Achievement Award’ to him for his remarkable work for human rights and interest of younger generation. Dr Gandhi also awarded the world famous Oslo University for its completion of 200 years and the Vice-Rector of the University Prof. Doris Jorde received this award for the university. The other prominent figures with whom Dr Gandhi met included Ms Gern-Hanne Fosen, Secretary-General, Norwegian National Commission for UNESCO; Ms Vigdis Lian, President of UNESCO, Norway: Ms Ingrid Eide, Member of City Council in Oslo and Prof. Kari Toverude Jensen, Rector of Oslo University etc.
Mr Sharma said that Dr Gandhi encouraged and inspired the younger generation of world to become an ideal citizen of the world, through his meaningful speech. Dr Gandhi spoke on ‘Social Responsibility of a Modern School’ at the Oslo and Akershus University College of Applied Science; on ‘Education for Protection and Security in the world’ at University of Oslo and on ‘Religion, Society and Global Issues’ at the Norwegian School of Theology.  Mr Sharma informed that Dr Gandhi received such wonderful welcome during his Norway tour for his outstanding devoted works for the rights of children and world unity for past 52 years and his endless efforts towards instilling thoughts of values, human welfare, world unity and divine perception in the children of entire world.
