The Uttar Pradesh Governor Mr. B.L. Joshi and Chief Minister Hon’ble Ms. Mayawati ji visited Idgah at Aishbagh and greeted the people of Muslim community on the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr.

The Governor while extending his heartiest greetings to people of Muslim community wished for their progress and bright future.

On this occasion, the Chief Minister Hon’ble Ms. Mayawati ji while greeting the Muslims said that Eid festival symbolises peace, brotherhood, love and communal harmony. She wished for prosperity, progress and bright future for the people of Muslim community.

Earlier, Idgah’s Nayab Imam Maulana Khalid Rashid Farangi Mahali offered Namaz and wished for the prosperity and peace of the country and the world.

On this occasion, Cabinet Minister & Chairman, State Haj Committee Mr. Naseemuddin Siddiqui, Information Advisor to C.M. Mr. Jameel Akhtar, Cabinet Secretary Mr. Shashank Shekhar Singh, Chief Secretary Mr. Anoop Mishra, Additional Cabinet Secretary Mr. Ravindra Singh, Secretary to C.M. Mr. Navneet Sahgel, Secretary Information & Lucknow Commissioner Mr. Prashant Trivedi, Director Information Badal Chatterji, Maulana Tariq Rasheed, Mr. Siraj Ahamd Khan, Sayyed Hussain, Mr. Mohammad Farooq Khan, Mr. Rizwan Ahmad were present including other senior administrative and police officers.
