Renowned literateur and writer Pt. Hari Om Sharma ‘Hari’ will be awarded with ‘Shabd Shree Samman’ at a ceremony held at UP Press Club by Sagar-Sanskriti-Sanskritik-Sansthan on 29 August for his remarkable literary works. Mayor of Lucknow Dr Dinesh Sharma and other eminent figures belonging to literature, education and media will grace the occasion. Mr Pandey informed that Pt. Hari Om Sharma ‘Hari’ is quite popular in intelligentsia class of the country for his brilliant writing style, simple and understandable language and a true portrayal of familial and social surroundings. He has made his presence felt in literary, journalistic and creative fields through his apt writings for past more than 30 years which has been quite successful in literary innovation and arising character building, moralistic and social values in younger generation. ‘Jago, Utho, Chalo’, ‘Awake, Arise, Ascend’ and ‘Jad, Jameen, Jahan’ authored by Pt. Hari has established a milestone and the Prime Minister of our country Dr Manmohan Singh felicitated Pt. Hari Om Sharma ‘Hari’. Our President Dr (Mrs) Pratibha Devi Singh Patil and former President Dr APJ Abdul Kalam also commended Pt Hari’s works profusely. Now his fourth creation ‘Harvest of Human Values’ will be released shortly.
