Students’ teams of Russia, Jordan, Singapore, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh and Nepal given great welcome in Lucknow
City Montessori School, Rajendra Nagar (Campus I) is organizing the four-day International Biotechnology Festival ‘Quest-2011′ from tomorrow 3 August at the CMS Kanpur Road auditorium. The Science and Technology Minister, UP, Mr Abdul Mannan, the Chief Guest on the occasion will open ‘Quest-2011′. Mr Hari Om Sharma, Chief Public Relations Officer of CMS informed.
Mr Sharma informed that the participating teams have been coming to Lucknow from India and abroad to partake in ‘Quest-2011′. The students’ teams of Russia, Jordan, Singapore, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Nepal and various states of India were accorded warm welcome in Lucknow by the CMS students and teachers with roli-chandan-teeka and floral garlands in traditional Indian style. The visiting teams of abroad were also very happy and seemed very enthusiastic to participate. The teams which reached Lucknow today include The Jubilee School, Jordan; Global Indian International School, Singapore; Mastermind School, Bangladesh; Notre Dame College, Bangladesh; St. Joseph Higher Sec. School, Bangladesh; Budhanilkantha School, Nepal; Moscow Chemical Lyceum, Russia and Ananda College, Sri Lanka etc.
Mr Sharma said that the teams came from various states of India were also accorded warm welcome, The Indian teams comprise MGD Girls School, Jaipur, Rajasthan; Delhi Public School, Gurgaon; Delhi Public School, Bokaro; Bluebells School International, New Delhi; St. Aloysius Sr. Sec. School, Jabalpur; Lakshmipat Singhania Academy, Kolkata; St. Xavier High School, Panchkula; Carmel Convent School, Bhopal; Welham Girls Schools, Dehradun; The Aryan International School, Varanasi; Sunbeam School, Lahartara, Varanasi etc. Many more teams are expected to reach tonight and tomorrow morning, Mr Sharma said.
Mr Sharma informed that CMS Rajendra Nagar is organizing this four-day International Biotechnology Festival ‘Quest-2011′ from 3 to 6 August at CMS Kanpur Road auditorium in which the teams from 11 countries viz. Singapore, Russia, Jordan, Kazakhstan, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Gambia, Nepal, Bhutan, Japan and various states of India are participating. Mr Sharma said that a press conference has also been convened tomorrow at 1.15 pm at CMS Kanpur Road auditorium where the participating teams will meet the press reporters.
