CMS’ 9 member team will visit South Korea to participate in ‘International Science Fair’

korea-delegation11A 9-member students team of City Montessori School, Kanpur Road Campus, Gomti Nagar Campus and Mahanagar (Campus II) will visit South Korea to partake in ‘International Science Fair’. This Science Fair has been convened by Korea Science Academy on the topic ‘Environment and Energy’ from 9 to 12 August 2011 in Busan city, South Korea. Mr Hari Om Sharma, Chief Public Relations Officer of CMS informed. Mr Sharma informed that this significant fair has been organized with the objective to incline students’ interest towards Science and acquaint them with its latest development which will be attended by the participating students of several nations.

Mr Sharma informed that the team to visit South Korea includes Pratul Hora and Shreya Singh of CMS Kanpur Road campus with the teacher Mrs Jayshree Krishnan as their leader. Rishabh Singh and Ritesh Upadhyay of CMS Mahanagar (Campus II) with their teacher Mr S K Gaur as their leader. Utsahan Sen of CMS Gomti Nagar and Manan Kumar of CMS Rajendra Nagar with the teacher of CMS Gomti Nagar, Mrs Shalini Kanchan as their leader.

Mr Sharma said that the Science Fair is convened with the aim to chisel scientific skills and knowledge of students. Besides this event will also develop the feelings of world fraternity, world unity and world peace. The fair will also help the upcoming scientists to bring an edge in their talents so that they can bring socially useful changes according to international norms. Moreover, its also convened with the purpose to provide a common platform to the students of various cultures and traditions from where they can learn lifestyle, language and technical know-how of each other.

Mr Sharma said that CMS recognizes the importance of scientific age, hence it endeavours to develop scientific and global outlook in its students which help them in reaching new heights in national and international contests. Besides this, CMS organizes 32 international events in Science, Maths, English, Computer Science, Robotics, Astronomy, Music, Sports etc. throughout the year to chisel the skills of students and provide the opportunity to explore their knowledge on an international platform with students of various countries. These events provide an international arena to the students and instil self-confidence in them. Mr Sharma further said that these international events are organized by CMS with the aim to provide such education to children that can prepare them as world leaders so that they lead the world with their broadened humanistic perspective.
