International Conference on ‘Religious Interfaith’ from 14 July in CMS

City Montessori School, Asharfabad campus is organizing a three-day “International Interfaith Conference on Promoting Interfaith Dialogue in Multi Religious Communities” from 14 to 16 July at the CMS Kanpur Road auditorium. Several religious gurus, educationists, jurists, philosophers and thinkers from 9 nations viz UK, Canada, Brazil, Egypt, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Nepal, Malaysia and India will be coming to attend this conference. Mr Hari Om Sharma, Chief Public Relations Officer of CMS informed. Mr Sharma informed that this international conference will be inaugurated by the Chief Guest, Mr Sukhdev Rajbhar, Speaker, Legislative Assembly, UP on 14 July at 5.00 pm at the CMS Kanpur Road auditorium. This international conference is dedicated to world peace and world unity having the objective to establish interaction among various religions of the world. This conference will disseminate the message across the globe that its the need of the hour to maintain a right tuning among different religions to attain the goal of world unity.     Mr Sharma informed that some eminent figures who will attend this international conference include Dr Adel Omer Sharif, Dy Chief Justice, Supreme Constitutional Court of Egypt; Mr Michel de Salaberry, Former Ambassador, Ministry of Foreign Affairs Canada; Prof Nihal Jayawickrama, Consultant, United Nations Agencies of Governance and Judicial Reforms and Coordinator of the UN sponsored Judicial Integrity Group, Sri Lanka; Prof. Mohammad Akhtar Siddiqui, Chairman, NCTE, India; Prof. Anwar Fazal, Director, Right Livelihood College, Malaysia; Mr Nasri Marco, Ph.D., President & Founder, Sharm El Sheikh International Arbitration Centre, Egypt; Prof. Dr Mohammad El-Shahat El-Gendy, Secretary General of the Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs and Member of Islamic Research Academy of Al-Azhar, Cairo, Egypt; Dr Nabil Abdel Fattah Mohamed, Asst to the Director of the Al Ahram Centre for Political and Strategic Studies, Egypt; Mr Mohamed Hassan El-Bana, Editing Manager, Al Akhbar Daily Newspaper, Egypt; Ms Zena Sorabjee, Vice-Chairperson, National Spiritual Assembly of Baha’is of India; Prof. Dilip Loundo, Professor of Religions Studies, Federal University, Brazil; Mr Gamal Zayda, Managing Editor, Al Akhbar Daily Newspaper, Egypt; Mr Saran Srinivas, Programme Manager, Right Livelihood College, Malaysia etc. Apart from them, a four member delegation of Dhaka University, Bangladesh; a delegation from Education Department, Nepal, various religious gurus viz Mr Rajendra Singh Bagga, Pragyanandji etc and various other delegates from various states of India are reaching Lucknow to participate in this international conference.
