Nine meritorious students of City Montessori School, Kanpur Road Campus have been selected for the scholarship by the Government of India to pursue high level studies in Science and brought glory for the institution. Each of them will be getting Rs. four lakhs. This information has come from Mr Hari Om Sharma, Chief Public Relations Officer of CMS. Mr Sharma informed that these CMS gems will be getting
Rs. 80,000/- for five years, thus a total of Rs. four lakhs, by the Department of Science and Technology, Government of India. These excellent students of CMS Kanpur Road showed their talents in ISC examination 2011 and were among the “Top 1%” merit list which gave them an opportunity to be short listed for this prestigious scholarship.
Mr Sharma informed that students who have been selected for this prestigious scholarship from CMS Kanpur Road Campus are Jigyasa Chanana, Ishneet Kaur Kohli, Sambit Padhi, Rohan Biswas, Nimisha, Niharika Mishra, Chahak Sethi, Alok Kumar Verma and Aditi Arvind. These outstanding students of CMS give credit for their tremendous success to their parents and teachers and peaceful and divine atmosphere of CMS. They said that the inspirational, divine and excellent teaching atmosphere instil utmost energy and enthusiasm in students. Mr Sharma said that CMS students are making new records and establishing new ideals of humanity and also spreading them across the globe. Like past years, this year too, 982 CMS students secured 90% to 98.20% marks in ISC and ICSE examinations and brought name and fame to the institution.
